The MASA Foundation Endowment
The mission of the 501(c)(3) School Administrators Charitable and Educational Foundation is to enhance the leadership development of educational administrators, to encourage and support individuals interested in careers in teaching or educational administration, to enhance the role and image of educational administrators, and to conduct research and provide information to policymakers and the public at large.
The MASA Foundation sponsors the MASA Mentoring Program, Equity and Excellence in Education Network, and the Professional Assistance Team.
The MASA Foundation supports programs that directly benefit MASA members just like you.
How can I give back?
You can join the MASA Foundation Endowment for four years (2024-28) at three different giving levels or opt for a one-time suggested donation of $50.
All donors to the Endowment Campaign will be listed on the Foundation’s Donor Wall.
Your support is vital, and every contribution, regardless of size, brings us closer to allowing the Foundation to live out its mission. Thank you for your commitment to improving educational leadership and your dedication to the MASA community.

The MASA Foundation is pleased to announce the return of the Foundation Endowment Campaign! All proceeds from the campaign go toward achieving the Foundation’s mission of enhancing the leadership development of educational administrators just like you. Previous iterations of the Foundation’s annual endowment have resulted in more than 150 members pledging an annual donation to the endowment for at least 4 years. Can your fellow MASA members count on your support for 2024-25?
The MASA Foundation sponsors the MASA Mentoring Program, the Equity and Excellence in Education Network, and the Professional Assistance Team.
Here's how your contribution to the MASA Foundation directly impacts your colleagues and your MASA experience:
The MASA Mentoring Program
Do you remember what it was like during your first year as a district-level administrator?
The MASA Mentor Program offers first-year mentoring to any MASA member new to their role, equipping them with resources, guidance, and professional and emotional support to excel in their positions. By contributing to the MASA Foundation Endowment Campaign, you directly impact the quality of education in Minnesota and the professional growth of our newest MASA members. Over the past eight years, the Foundation has supported more than 250 new members by funding the MASA Mentor Program.
The Equity and Excellence in Education Network
The MASA Foundation has generously provided funds to support MASA's Equity and Excellence in Education Network. Previous opportunities have included: Leading for an Equitable System Symposium, Virtual Equity Power Hours, and the Educational Equity Continuum Series. With your continued support, we can expand these efforts and make a lasting difference in bridging educational disparities across all communities in Minnesota.
Professional Dialogue Sessions
The Professional Dialogue Sessions are a series of eight virtual sessions during 2024-25 hosted by Dr. Michael Thomas, Superintendent of Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools.
Professional Assistance Team (P.A.T.)
Your donation ensures that experienced MASA colleagues are there to confidentially discuss issues, offer advice, and provide valuable coaching during critical times. Over the past five years, the P.A.T. has served more than 50 of your colleagues during times of crisis!
