Minnesota Principals Survey

Principals, assistant principals, and charter school leaders across the state will receive an email on Monday, November 3 inviting them to participate in the third biennial Minnesota Principals Survey. We would ask that you encourage your principals to take part in this survey, as it has provided useful and actionable information to many organizations across the state (including our own).

We continue to be a partner with the University of Minnesota in conducting this work. The results have been shared not only at our conferences, they have been widely shared with many other organizations including MDE and MSBA. We know we can count on the U of M not only to administer a high quality survey, but also to communicate the findings accurately, fairly, and broadly. This FAQ outlines what is contained within the survey, and how the results have been used. 

This survey, now in its third iteration, represents an important opportunity for principals to share the promises and challenges of being a school leader today. MASA asks that you not only encourage your school-level leaders to participate in the survey, but perhaps even provide them with designated time to do so.
