Sponsored Email Promotions provide eligible MASA Business Partners with the opportunity to share educational resources, research, case studies, thought leadership, and professional learning opportunities directly with Minnesota school leaders through MASA’s trusted communication channels.

Unlike traditional advertising, Sponsored Email Promotions are designed to deliver relevant, informative content that supports district leaders while maintaining the quality and integrity of MASA communications.


What Is a Sponsored Email Promotion?

A Sponsored Email Promotion is a dedicated email distributed through MASA’s email platform on behalf of an eligible Business Partner.

These communications are separate from MASA’s regular eUpdates and newsletters, providing a focused opportunity to share:

  • Research reports and white papers
  • Case studies and success stories
  • Best practice guides and toolkits
  • Webinar and event invitations
  • Legislative or policy insights
  • Industry trends and thought leadership
  • Educational resources relevant to district leaders

All Sponsored Email Promotions are reviewed and approved by MASA prior to distribution.

MASA Editorial Review

MASA reserves the right to:

  • Request revisions
  • Edit for clarity and consistency
  • Decline content that does not align with member interests or professional standards

This process helps maintain the integrity and effectiveness of MASA communications.


Sponsorship Identification

All Sponsored Email Promotions are clearly identified as sponsored content.

Messages include disclosure language indicating that the communication is a sponsored message and does not constitute endorsement by MASA.

This transparency helps protect member trust while providing meaningful opportunities for partner engagement.

Future Add-On Opportunities

MASA may offer additional Sponsored Email Promotion opportunities to eligible Business Partners, subject to availability and program capacity.


Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a list rental?

No. MASA does not provide access to member email lists. All communications are distributed through MASA’s email platform.

Will I receive member email addresses?

No. Member contact information is not shared through this program.

Can I send promotional content?

Yes, but content should provide educational value and be relevant to the interests and responsibilities of school leaders.

How far in advance should content be submitted?

Partners should plan to submit final content and graphics at least 10 business days prior to their scheduled distribution date.

Does MASA approve all content?

Yes. All Sponsored Email Promotions are reviewed prior to distribution.
