Revised Superintendent Model Contract
The Minnesota School Boards Association and the Minnesota Association of School Administrators are happy to provide to member districts and administrators a revised Model Superintendent Contract. The Model Superintendent Contract has been in effect and used throughout the state for many decades. It is consistent with state statutes regarding Minnesota superintendent contracts and other employment law rights and obligations and also with what MSBA and MASA see as best practices in a fair and efficient contract between a district and its chief executive officer. It is the product of many years of experience and a balanced treatment.
Read the full message and download a copy here. Links to the contract are housed on the members-only section of the MASA website for future access: https://www.mnasa.org/superintendent-contracts.html

Introducing the Sourcewell District Purchasing Hub
We are excited to announce that MASA has been selected as one of Sourcewell's first state pilot sites for the new District Purchasing Hub! This means that we have been chosen to participate in the testing and development of this innovative procurement solution, which is designed to make purchasing easier and more efficient for school leaders.
MASA has been working closely with Sourcewell and AASA, The School Superintendents Association, to develop and refine our pilot site, ensuring that it meets the unique needs of our members. We are proud to be at the forefront of this initiative, and we believe that this new purchasing hub will improve the way that districts source their supplies and services.
We invite you to explore MASA's new District Purchasing Hub for yourself. Visit www.mnasa.org/sourcewell-district-purchasing-hub to get started today!
