Public Schools Week Toolkit

    Public Schools Week is approaching! Taking place February 23-27, this annual celebration provides an important opportunity to highlight the essential role public education plays in shaping our students, our communities, and our shared future. It is also a time to recognize the dedicated educators, staff, and families whose collective efforts support the success of every child.

    We are pleased to share a Public Schools Week toolkit developed for education leaders across Minnesota. The toolkit is designed to help you easily celebrate and advocate for your schools, staff, and communities throughout the week. It includes:

    • Messaging Templates: Ready-to-use email templates for staff and families that clearly and effectively highlight the value of public education and the importance of community support.

    • Social Media Posts and Graphics: Shareable content and visuals to help amplify Public Schools Week messaging across the district and school social media platforms.

    There is much to celebrate in Minnesota’s public schools. At the same time, we recognize that challenges remain, and meeting them will require strong leadership, collaboration, and a shared commitment to ensuring schools have the resources and support they need.

    As you plan your Public Schools Week activities, we encourage you to use these resources to highlight student successes, recognize the dedication of educators and staff, and engage your communities in meaningful support of public education. Together, we can help ensure Minnesota’s public schools remain strong and vibrant for generations to come.
