VISTA Programming Opportunities with Fridley Public Schools
Fridley Public Schools is excited to share that we have expanded the programming available through VISTA Education Center (Valuing Individual Student Talents and Abilities) to better serve students with intensive educational and behavioral needs throughout the metro area.
Beginning this school year, VISTA now offers specialized programming in four distinct settings:

VISTA Elementary – Grades K-4

VISTA Middle School – Grades 5-8

VISTA High School – Grades 9-12

VISTA Autism Center – Specialized programming for students whose needs are best met in an autism-specific educational environment
VISTA Education Center provides highly structured, individualized programming designed for students whose IEP teams have determined that a Federal Setting IV placement is appropriate. Our programs focus on providing rigorous academic instruction while addressing students' behavioral, social-emotional, communication, and functional needs in a therapeutic and supportive learning environment.
Our multidisciplinary team includes licensed special education teachers, behavior specialists, related service providers, school social workers, school psychologists, and trained paraprofessionals who work collaboratively to develop individualized supports that promote student success. Programming emphasizes:

Opportunities for students to develop the skills necessary to successfully transition to less restrictive educational environments when appropriate
