MASA Member Benefit! 24/7 Urgent & Crisis Communication Services

We are excited to announce that MASA has renewed our partnership with the Donovan Group for another year! Under this agreement, MASA members have access to school communication experts who can assist in responding to urgent and crisis situations. There is no cost to the district, and the service is available 24/7/365.

The Donovan Group is a nationwide communication firm that focuses exclusively on public K-12 education. When you’re dealing with an urgent or complex situation, their team will help you gather the facts, determine who you need to reach first, and formulate communications quickly, accurately, and effectively.

To use the service, simply call (651) 615-8165 or email MNcrisis@Donovan-Group.com. An experienced communications professional will help guide you through managing communication around the issue. In addition to live counsel over the phone or email, you can receive custom talking points, parent letters, news releases, social media posts, and other written content as needed.

It is recommended that you save the number and email address on your mobile device so you can access them quickly.

Crisis communication services are included with your membership and are available at no extra charge. There’s no limit to the number of times you can use the service. We encourage you to reach out whenever you encounter a challenging situation in your school or district.
