Currently, she continues to advocate for highly mobile families as the Deputy Director of Migrant Education Services for Tri-Valley Opportunity Council. She has seen her students grow up and turn into parents, always trying to do better each day. Migratory families will always hold a special place in her heart as her passion for education continues to grow. Noemi Treviño is the Migrant Education Program Specialist and grant reviewer for Title II programs at the Minnesota Department of Education since 2000. She has 24 years of experience working with English learners and the Migrant Education Program in the Division of Access and Opportunity.
