Eligible projects include geothermal, solar, thermal energy storage tanks, and more. Jeff Bertrang has over 32 years of experience as a classroom teacher, coach, bus driver, building principal and school superintendent. He recently retired from New Ulm Public Schools in June of 2023. In his career, he has lead technology innovation with the first ever iPad 1-1 program in the nation; successfully lead a school district referendum to build a new high school and remodel existing buildings; lead a community wide effort to fund, staff and operate a regional Career Technical Education (CTE) , and worked to renew a school operating referendum. He served as chair of MASA Region 2 and served as the MASA Region 2 rep on the MASA Board of Directors. Today, Jeff is part of the public sector advisory team at Baker Tilly.
