2024-25 MASA Great Start Cohort
for new superintendents and administrators

The Minnesota Association of School Administrators (MASA) is committed to providing support to superintendent leaders, particularly as you step into the role for the first time. As a member of the Great Start Cohort, you will have the opportunity to connect with other new superintendents, learn from and network with seasoned leaders with a variety of resources and ideas, and develop practical skills designed to help you be successful in the first year of your new position. In addition to the seven traditional workshops (scheduled in conjunction with conferences when appropriate for travel and schedule ease), participants will also receive access to the GSC Online Toolbox webpage filled with supporting documents and resources on popular topics. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be granted for each session in the series. Whether you a first time superintendent or an experienced superintendent new to Minnesota, this workshop series is a wonderful opportunity to address the challenges of a new superintendency together with others in similar situations. If there are area you know you want to address that aren't listed in previous topics, please don't hesitate to reach out and let us know!

COHORT FEES:
Because of the generous support of Baker Tilly and Ehlers, we are able to offer this cohort for $549 for all seven sessions. Price includes continental breakfast, lunch, and beverages for full-day sessions. The price will not be prorated for missed sessions. Participants may not register for individual sessions. You MUST be a Minnesota Association of School Administrators (MASA) member to attend. Not a member yet? Please submit your membership online.

CANCELLATIONS: Program fees will be refunded if canceled by July 23, 2024, with a $75 fee. No refunds after that date. Lodging cancellations are the responsibility of the participant without exception.
