Request for Proposals: Executive Coaching for MASA Members
The Minnesota Association of School Administrators (MASA) is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or organizations who are MASA business partners to join with us to provide executive coaching services for school leaders within the organization. MASA recognizes the critical role effective leadership plays in creating positive outcomes for students, staff, and the overall success of Minnesota’s public schools.
Scope of Services: Selected provider(s) will be responsible for delivering executive coaching services to interested school leaders who are MASA members. The coaching program should aim to enhance leadership skills, promote personal and professional growth, and support the overall development of school leaders. The coaching services should be tailored to the specific needs and challenges faced by educational leaders in today's dynamic educational landscape.
Identify the specific requirements/individual needs of MASA members as school leaders.
Develop customized coaching plans for individual school leaders, addressing their unique needs and goals.
Provide one-on-one coaching sessions to support the professional growth and development of school leaders.
Offer feedback to MASA regarding potential skill-building workshops on relevant topics, fostering leadership capabilities and addressing current educational trends and challenges faced by multiple school leaders for possible inclusion at future professional development opportunities.
RFP Process: Interested individuals or organizations are requested to submit a proposal outlining the following details:
Executive Summary:
Brief introduction and overview of your experience in providing executive coaching services for school leaders.
Explanation of your understanding of the specific needs and challenges faced by school leaders in today's educational landscape.
Approach and Methodology:
Description of your coaching approach and methodology, including the techniques and tools you employ.
How you will customize coaching plans to address the unique needs of individual school leaders.
Individual/Team Qualifications:
Information on the qualifications, experience, and certifications of the coaching team members who will be involved in delivering the services.
Any relevant success stories or testimonials from previous coaching engagements with school leaders.
Timeline and Implementation Plan:
Proposed timeline for the coaching program, including the duration of coaching sessions and workshops.
Overview of the implementation plan, including milestones and key activities.
Flexibility to accommodate any specific scheduling requirements or constraints.
Budget:
Itemized costs associated with the executive coaching services must be included with the RFP. Fees and related costs will be the responsibility of the participating school leader or district.
MASA will provide referrals to school leaders and may also contract for services on behalf of members. Budget information should include proposed revenue sharing with MASA for contracts resulting from MASA referrals.
Any additional costs, such as materials or travel expenses, should be clearly specified.

Selection Process: MASA will evaluate the proposals based on the following criteria:
Demonstrated experience and expertise in providing executive coaching services for educational leaders
Comprehensive and well-defined approach to meeting the needs of school leaders
Qualifications and expertise of the coaching team members
Cost-effectiveness and return on investment
Completed specifications identified in RFP process
References and testimonials
Active MASA business partner
MASA may request additional information or schedule interviews with shortlisted candidates before making a final selection.
