Participant Testimonial
Dr. Rhoda Mhiripiri-Reed, Superintendent, Hopkins Public Schools 2022-23 Leading with Excellence & Equity Participant:
"I brought my cabinet team to participate in this journey for 2022-23. The facilitation was professional and extremely respectful of where each learner was on their journey. The learning space was enhanced by photo galleries and other visual content that engages and pushes learners. The dialogue was enriched by participants from across various spaces in Minnesota. We enjoyed our learning and valued the opportunity to stretch our strategic thinking within the context of race, immigration, inclusion, and belonging."
The team at the UnitedHealth Group Equity Innovation Center (EIC) at the YMCA of the North is excited to partner with MASA for the Leading with Excellence and Equity series. The initial and closing sessions will be held in person at the EIC. The other six sessions will be held virtually. This series of experiences is designed to 1) increase awareness of self and others; 2) develop effective strategies for increasing positive intercultural relationships; and 3) explore approaches for creating workplace culture that is diverse, inclusive, and equitable.
We invite individuals and groups to embark on an equity journey through a series of sessions, two in-person and six virtual. We will provide experiences, principles, information, and tools for you to apply in systems change work for greater equity.
Participation is limited to 30 seats. Register early to save your spot!
