MSHSL Online Student Eligibility

The Minnesota State High School League has responded to the desires of its member schools and established a new determination of eligibility for students enrolled in an independent school district online program beginning in 2027-2028. In assisting our member schools and their students to be prepared for this change and to assist their students, this webinar will address the following key aspects:

• Current rules for students being educated through online programs
• The background and process for the rule change
• The current and future rules for independent school district online students
• Information that can be shared with staff and students now
• How schools can inform and prepare students for their future educational choices

MSHSL staff will also provide an opportunity for submitted questions and an overview of how best to guide your students who may be impacted by this change of rule.  Where students are being education now and later matters!
