The Sustainable Leader — Navigating Crisis with Compassion and Boundaries
Join Us Virtually
Event Details
In times of crisis, school leaders are often expected (or expect themselves) to be everything to everyone — which can lead to burnout and martyrdom. This session offers a psychological framework for sustainable caring, including practical strategies to support others while protecting your own capacity to lead for the long haul.
You’ll explore:
-
Practical boundaries that help prevent burnout
-
How to separate professional duty from personal advocacy
-
How to lead with emotional safety without emptying your own cup
MASA members are also welcome to invite members of their leadership teams to attend. Non-members will need to create a free account on MASA’s website in order to register.
