MASA’s Educator Resilience Cohort Facilitated by: Kelly Wilson, Director of Special Education, Forest Lake Area Schools Jill Krautkremer, School Psychologist, Forest Lake Area Schools
You are invited to join the Educator Resilience Cohort. This series of 10 dynamic sessions are centered around the acclaimed professional resource book, Onward: Cultivating Emotional Resilience in Educators by Elena Aguilar. Designed specifically for MASA members, this cohort offers a collaborative space where you can connect with fellow school leaders and delve into Aguilar's framework, exploring its profound relevance to your unique roles within your school and community. With a focus on the four crucial elements of who we are, where we are, what we do, and how we are, participants will immerse themselves in Aguilar’s 12 habits and dispositions that can be consciously nurtured to fortify resilience. We wholeheartedly encourage you to prioritize self-care and deliberately cultivate your own resilience, empowering you to effectively support others. Join the Educator Resilience Cohort today, and embark on a transformative journey of professional and personal development!
When is it? The cohort is offered from August 10, 2023, through May 8, 2024. We will kick off with a longer in-person session in August, followed by monthly virtual sessions. We plan to reunite to celebrate our journey together in May, but it will depend upon where in the state people are located.
Registration Fee $250 for MASA Members. A copy of Onward: Cultivating Emotional Resilience in Educators by Elena Aguilar will be mailed to all registrants.
