As one of the strongest voices for public education,
MASA has a solid and collaborative working relationship
with state and federal policy makers, state department
officials and other educational associations. Together,
we work topromote progressive ideas to improve our
schools. Over the course of the session, we ask our
members to participate in our advocacy by attending
Capitol visits and contacting their legislators regularly.
Our memberships’ involvement during the session is
    vital to a successful outcome.

Management Concerned for Public Education (MCPE)

is MASA’s political action committee and is independent
of any state or national political party. MASA’s regular
revenue dollars (such as dues) cannot be used for lobbying, yet political activities are extremely important in influencing the policy making process. Funds from the MCPE allow us to have access to our policymakers.

We encourage all MASA members to join!
