The 2015 Minnesota and National Superintendent of the Year Nominations Are Now Open!
Nominations are due August 1, 2014

You can nominate any superintendent, chancellor or top leader of a school system in Minnesota who plans to continue in the profession. This program is designed to recognize the outstanding leadership of active, front-line superintendents.

Each state association of school administrators will select a State Superintendent of the Year. The Minnesota Superintendent of the Year Award recipient is selected by a panel of representatives from a variety of Minnesota education organizations convened by MASA. MASA will then forward the state candidate to the national competition.

A national blue-ribbon panel of judges will select four finalists for AASA National Superintendent of the Year from among the 49 eligible State Superintendents of the Year. The judging panel is composed of distinguished leaders in education. The panel’s decision will be based on the written applications and the letters of recommendation.

The AASA National Superintendent of the Year Program is sponsored by Aramark, VALIC and AASA

A Special Thank You goes to ATS&R for graciously sponsoring the Minnesota Superintendent of the Year!
