The BRIDGES program is designed to foster better working relationships with school superintendents and local union presidents and is to be used when the relationship between individuals is hindering their work. It offers tools for improving communication and relationships rather than simply resolving a dispute. The BRIDGES program is based on the belief that effective communication can assist in resolving disputes and improving relationships. The BRIDGES process can be used informally, or on a formal basis with a facilitator team working with participants on resolving their dispute.
