We at MASA would like to thank our sponsors and business partners for your ongoing support.  Our sponsors make a significant contribution to the quality of MASA’s conferences.   With your help, MASA is able to provide better professional development opportunities for our members.

Sponsors are recognized in the MASA newsletter, in promotional and other communications, in the final conference program, and on event signage where it is appropriate.  Sponsors attending the conference will be introduced at a general session and will be given sponsor ribbons for their nametags.

MASA 2014 Fall Conference Registration
We have all heard the saying, “It takes a village to raise a child,” but do we know whether or to what extent we are engaging our “villages” on behalf of our students? The fragmentation of our communities is an issue, not only for our schools, but for other community entities, as well as for individuals themselves. As leaders, we must consider how to shape and shift the conversations with our communities to include and involve all segments of our society to come together and create a common future for our students and their families. We all aspire to being a part of a healthy, inclusive, whole community in which strong relationships form a powerful infrastructure that supports us all. Join your colleagues this fall and explore, “Pulling Together ~ Leading Strong School Communities.”

The Minnesota Association of School Administrators (MASA) is committed to providing excellent professional development that will support you in your professional practice.  As a member of the Great Start Cohort, you will have the opportunity to meet other new superintendents of Minnesota, receive information from seasoned leaders, and develop practical skills designed to help you be successful in the first year of your new position.  In addition to the five traditional workshops, (linked to MASA conferences for travel and schedule ease), participants will also receive access to the GSC Online Toolbox and mobile app filled with supporting documents and videos on popular topics. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be granted for each session in the series.  Whether you are an experienced superintendent wishing to refresh your skills, or are new to your leadership role, this workshop series is a wonderful opportunity to network with your colleagues and a chance for us to get to know you better.
